Tomb Raider is a major success story, one that began with the movie in 2001 followed by a large Number of action games that continue to grow in popularity. Today Tomb Raider has an new slots game and other online games that have become very popular. Tomb Raider has become more than just a movie or a game, it is an online community of Laura Croft fans that anxiously await new information about their favorite character.

Laura Croft has become somewhat of an icon in the gaming world. Many sites are now devoted to the adventures of Laura Croft as opposed to Tomb Raider. Angelina Jolie set the stage the stage for Laura Crofts popularity with the Tomb Raider trilogy in 2001, 2003, 2008 and a new movie coming up in 2010.
